On September 30^th, 2019 the Library of the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă" (P4-UPSC/MD), in partnership with the Center for Continuing Education, organized the workshop "Information resources to support the continuous training and retraining of teachers".

During the activity, the trainers became aware of the possibilities of study and research offered by the Scientific Library, were initiated in the use of information resources. The workshop started with the presentation of the exhibition "Know your teacher's publications", where the works of the professors of the Department of Pre-school Pedagogy, Physical Education and Dance, were presented. The activity was guided by Dr. Carabet NATALIA, State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă".

The following topics were discussed during the workshop:

• Familiarity with the scientific potential of university’s teachers.
• Capitalizing on the didactic and scientific potential of the university’s academic staff.
• Access to university scientific research through the Institutional Repository - DIR SPU.
• Electronic Library - additional support for study and research.
• Primo shared catalog: search methods and possibilities.
• Elaboration of bibliographic references for research.
