Study visit to the University of Graz, Austria, 20-24 June 2022

Between June 20-24, 2022, the project working groups of the Partner Universities of the Republic of Moldova and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova participated in the study visit to the University of Graz, Austria (https://www.uni-graz.at).

The participants of the study visit got acquainted with the experience of the University of Graz in the field of Lifelong Learning (ULLL), the institutional structures involved in the provision of ULLL programs and services, but also with the way of organization and operation of the Continuous University Training and Development Network staff from Austria - AUCEN (https://www.aucen.ac.at). 

The campus of the University of Graz, the Continuing Education Center and the company Uni4life (https://www.uniforlife.at), founded by the University of Graz, responsible for the development and offering to the general public of professional continuing education programs, were visited.

During the study visit, the Moldovan universities presented the Continuing Education Centers, created or consolidated during the project, and the internal regulatory documents with reference to Continuing Education. Special attention during the presentations was given to the University Strategies in the field of LLL and action plans for the next 5 years. At the same time, several work sessions were organized, during which the participants worked together on the concept of the ULLL Transformation Guide (an important document to be developed by each partner university), but also on the concept of the LLL University Network, which to be created in Moldova by the end of the project.
