Fifth Consortium Meeting, 28 March 2022
On March 28, 2022, the fifth consortium meeting of the ERASMUS+, "Towards European University Lifelong Learning Model In Moldova - COMPASS" project took place online (Reference number: 597889-EPP-1-2018-1-MD- EPPKA2-CBHE-SP), coordinated by the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova. The consortium meeting was organised online via ZOOM platform.
The project is in its 4th year of implementation and aims to promote and strengthen the culture of lifelong learning (LLL) in Moldova, building the national consensus of key actors in LLL development issues. In order to promote LLL culture, the project foresees both the creation of a favourable legislative framework for LLL (the project provides for the elaboration and adoption of four regulatory documents at the national level), but also the creation of university capacities for the development of continuous training programs and services related to LLL. For this purpose, within the partner universities, with the support of the project, specialized centers in the field of LLL were created, regulatory documents and strategies for the development of LLL services were developed. At the same time, the academic staff participated in trainings delivered by representatives of EU universities (project partners), thanks to which they developed and piloted LLL programs.
During the meeting on March 28, the results obtained as a result of the implementation of the project were discussed, but also the tasks to be carried out in the last year of the project were determined. During the consortium meeting, Ala LUCA, lead consultant at the Lifelong Learning Service of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, presented the Regulation on the continuing education of adults to be adopted in the coming months by the Ministry of Education and Research from Moldova.
