3rd COMPASS Country Workshop

Between 3-5 May 2022, the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, in collaboration with the European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN), Belgium, organized the 3rd International Workshop within the ERASMUS + project, COMPASS.

The event took place in a mixed format (offline and online), which allowed to connect to the event both academics from Moldova and those from Austria, Finland, Italy, Spain, India, Russia. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Moldova, the Board of Governors, as well as business representatives. 

During the event, the speakers addressed topics of major importance for the development of Lifelong Learning in Moldova: 

  • Continuing education of academics: experience of UCM, Lucila FINKEL, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain;
  • Development of ULLL in Georgia: TSU case study, Keti TSINTSADZE, Tbilisi State University "Ivane Javakhishvili", Georgia;
  • Development of continuing education programs for academics: experience of UPSC, Elena TAP, UPSC, Moldova
  • Regulation of continuing education of university staff, Ala Luca, MECC, Moldova;
  • Analysis of the target group of the LLL course using the person's approach to gain empathy, Isabell GRUNDSCHOBER, University of Continuing Education in Krems, Austria;
  • Marketing strategies used to promote LLL courses, Grigore FORTUNA, Fortuna Media Grup SRL company, Moldova;
  • Increasing the adaptability and accessibility of LLL courses through digitization, Tatiana BUCOS, ASEM, Moldova;
  • Authorization and accreditation of LLL courses as a marketing tool, Adelina GHETIU, USEFS, Moldova;
  • Development of ULLL programs: concept, methodology, experience (UCCM case study), Sofia CAPATINA, Liliana DANDARA, UCCM, Moldova;
  • Experience in developing, organizing and implementing continuing education courses within the COMPASS project, Raisa COVRICOVA, USComrat, Moldova;
