On October 30, 2019, at the premises of the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creanga" was held the republican methodical seminar for teachers in pre-university and higher education, under the topic "Current problems and methodological aspects of the implementation of the Curriculum - 2019, Russian language and literature discipline in the educational process". The event brought together over 130 teachers from all over the Republic of Moldova.

The seminar was organized by the Chair of Language and Communication, trainer - co-teacher Dr. Irina TVIC, coordinator of the working group for the elaboration of the Curriculum in the discipline “Russian language and Literature” (for pre-university institutions teaching Russian) with the active involvement of Mrs. Ala NIKITCHENKO, main consultant at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova. In her presentation, Mrs. Ala NIKITCENKO highlighted the major problems faced by the teachers in the implementation of the Curriculum during the year 2019 and answered the questions addressed by the teachers.

Moreover, Mrs. G. TOPOR referred to the need for continuous training of the teachers and the opportunities offered by the University in this regard through the "COMPASS" project, within the ERASMUS + program, where State Pedagogical University "Ion Creanga" is involved as a partner.
